• National Archives Visit

  On Thursday 30th October, children in Y5 and Y6 had a virtual visit from a member of the National Archives. They used historical documents to look for clues to help with their research into the sinking of The Titanic. It was a fantastic event!

• Year 5 BuildOn £5 challenge

  A HUGE congratulations and well done to Team 5 who were the first to take part in our £5 challenge. Their time, effort and enterprising skills made a whopping  £636.81!!!! 👏👏👏
  Congratulations also to Aden who was the winning contribution, raising over £150! Watch this space for the next class to take the challenge on...

  We can’t think of anything more important than teaching our children how to stay safe and our oval PCSOs are always willing to help in any way they can. Here they are talking to all our pupils about Stranger Danger.

  Another fabulous Christmas Market thanks to the organisation and commitment of the PTFA, staff and volunteers ... not to mention our children and families who supported by attending! All monies will go straight back to our children here at Moira. Thank you!

  You may know that very sadly someone stole all the poppies from the Centenary Methodist church. This has saddened the community greatly. Together Donisthorpe Primary and Moira Primary have replaced the poppies ... and some! Around 400 altogether!

  

• Open Book assemblies

  The children love hearing popular bible stories acted out by our local ‘Open the Book’ and particularly enjoying getting involved themselves! A lovely way to re-affirm our British Values.
