  • Grandparents lunch!

    Sun 08 Oct 2017 K.Hambleton
What a wonderful event we had at Moira this week! On Tuesday our hall was not only full of the beautiful smell of roast dinner.....but also many grandparents who had come to share lunch with their grand children. It was so lovely to see the families chatting together and amazing to hear such kind words about our food, staff and children. We are already looking forward to the next one!
  • Year 5/6 Tag Rugby

Wed 04 Oct 2017 Mrs Hobbs

On Wednesday 4th October, a group of hardy year 5 and 6s (plus Mrs Hambleton) went to Ashby Rugby Club to take part in (and get very muddy) at the 5/6 Tag Rugby tournament.

With 15 teams taking part, winning would be a tough ask. They worked together as a team, but unfortunately didn't make it through the group stages. Despite this, they had great fun win, lose and draw.

  • 'Play and stay' with Reception

Sun 01 Oct 2017 Karen Hambleton
This week at Moira we enjoyed sharing our children's learning experiences and environment with parents...the first of many to come! On Wednesday it was the turn of our newest and youngest pupils in Reception. They were all so excited to have a room full of visitors and clearly had fun playing with their grown ups, sharing their learning and telling them all the rules of their classroom! We have had such lovely comments from you all too...thank you!
