  It is an absolute pleasure to walk around our school and see all the lovely things that are going on, the super learning, kind and thoughtful children and the bright, welcoming environment that our children get to experience. Take a virtual wander looking at our different displays.

  

• 'Happy Lunchtimes'

  We have now completed two full weeks of 'Happy lunchtimes' following on from additional staff training, talking to the children, completing questionnaires and reviewing all our lunchtime systems. The success of this so far is clearly evident when you talk to the children and watch them on the yard! So many new and exciting activities are taking place....it is hard to keep up! Take a look at our photographs which really show what a happy lunch time we have here at Moira.

  

• Forest School Visit

  As a school we are very excited that this year we are able to offer a 'Forest School Experience' to every year group throughout the year. This is a perfect opportunity for pupils to learn outdoors, develop team work and co-operation, have an appreciation of nature and develop their self help skills. In our experience we really see children blossom! Take a look at Team 1 who have visited for the first time this year....they had a wonderful morning.

  

• 'Happy Lunchtimes'

  It has been a wonderful week so far at Moira, with lots of things to celebrate. However, the highlight has got to be the introduction of 'Happy Lunchtimes'. The lunch time team are looking at lots of ways of keeping lunch times 'fresh', 'fun' and 'fabulous' and so far it has been a wonderful success! The children have danced, chalked amazing pictures on the floor, built towers, competed to make the biggest button stack, made paper aeroplanes....and more! The response from the children has been fantastic...and there are lots of plans going forward so watch this space!

  Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. The website is extremely easy to edit by all staff at the school, so check back soon for new updates!
