At Moira Primary School, we are committed to providing a music curriculum that engages and inspires all pupils to develop a love of music and their talent as musicians, and to increase their self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement.
Our music curriculum will give students the opportunity to:
listen to, review and evaluate music
be taught to sing, create and compose music
understand and explore how music is created, produced and communicated
be introduced to a variety of genres of music from around the world and across generations, and understand how we can use music as a medium to explore and appreciate British and other cultures
perform to a variety of audiences, through lessons and extracurricular opportunities.
We provide a vibrant musical experience for all children with fun and enjoyment at its heart.
