In September 2026, our staff met to review our vision, ethos and values as a school. Alongside our school council and governors, we agreed on the following: 

Our Vision:

To inspire every child to be kind, confident learners who are happy, successful and ready for their future.

Our Ethos:

We are a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone is valued, supported and inspired to achieve their best.

Children highlighted happy, successful and included as particularly important words. During our discussion, pupils also shared some thoughtful reasons for the values they consider important:

• Included: "It means everyone belongs." (Year 4)

• Successful: "If we are successful, we are kind and confident." (Year 6)

• Kind: "It means we are good friends and everyone has a friend." (KS1)

• Confident: "We can try new things." (Year 3)
