If you have any questions about PSHE, please do not hesitate to speak to the Subject Leader, Deb Johnson (Year 3 teacher). It is also worth looking at our wellbeing page which is in the parents section of the website.
At present, PSHE is not a statutory curriculum area although the government intend to change this with the introduction of a Sex and Relationships programme of study. PSHE stands for Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education. These are areas of great importance and will play a vital role in the lives of our children as they grow and develop into resilient adults. It underpins the ethos of Moira and part of everything we do as well as the discrete lessons the children have each week. At present we are following the ENTRUST programme of study although this will be reviewed in line with the governments new expectations. This information will be shared with parents in the next academic year.
