More Sport...

Another busy week of sports continued last week when Y5/6 played the second of their cup group match at Ashby Hilltop. We were away for this match and they all played brilliantly. The final result was 1-1 in a very close match. The team worked well together and respected each other, their opposition and the referees decisions- fitting well with our RESPECT week in school.

Their final match is this Tuesday (21st) which is a match they will play at home. Keep your eyes posted for more results...

Saturday also saw more action at Cross-Country at Broom-Leys school. It was another cold but dry and bright morning and 7 of our children took to the field and ran their hearts out. Several of our runners finished in the top 10 or bettered their positions from previous races. On a tough course, they ran really well and should be very proud of themselves. Well done. Don't forget cross-country club is Wednesday lunchtime with Mrs Hobbs and the next race is Saturday 2nd December at Viscount Beaumont School.
